The Woot Woot! Mistake, Visit Brantford & Canada Day

Egg On My Face

I feel like I have had eggs thrown at my face! You received an email from me that was a draft meant to diagnose a problem. I forgot to unschedule it, and you got it. What is worse is the emails and texts expressing perplexity in different ways. So, my apologies for showing up as a techno-klutz.

The Good News

We HAVE INDEED reached our target! 5,000 copies of Our Biblical Legacy on Parliament Hill will be printed and distributed free of charge at the National Day of Prayer on July 11, held on Parliament Hill in Ottawa.

Recipients will use those Scripture verses to pray for Canada and our politicians. Now you can shout, Woot Woot!!! And you can do a happy dance if you want to. I did!

I am humbled and blessed to have you on this journey with me. Your support is never taken for granted. The books will be printed and shipped during the next week. The donor list will be sent to the printer today for inclusion on the last page of the book. Today is the last day to submit your ads if you want to have 5,000 pairs of eyes on your business.

More Good News

The 3-fold flyer with information on the 25 Scripture verses is printed. To expedite dissemination as widely as possible before Canada Day, I am preparing a license that will enable churches to print as many copies as needed for their congregations at minimal cost.

If you would like your church or Christian school to have that ability, please email info@christianrootscanada.org with your pastor's or principal's name and the email address to which I should send the sample PDF. Home-schoolers get the same deal.

Canada Day

After attending the National Prayer Breakfast (NPB) in Ottawa last March, I attended the Jerusalem Prayer Breakfast, which followed it. I was asked to speak for a few minutes about the Christians who laid the foundations of Ottawa.

I mentioned the Peace Tower Scriptures and John A. Pearson. I held up the book, and there was strong interest from an American organisation (WellVersed), which helps politicians do politics Christianly. I was subsequently interviewed about the Scripture verses. That interview airs on Canada Day. Watch your email for the link soon.
