That's A LOT of Books!!!

Rejoice with me! This is what the Lord has done. He made a way when no way was planned or existed.

You were AMAZING!! Thanks for your support. I even received $220.20 above the printing costs, which covered most of the $327.06 shipping costs.

I promised you transparency, so here goes... the total number of books going to Ottawa is 4,900. I have reserved 100 to send to you, my donors, so you can see what your contribution has produced. I am ever thankful to all of you who made this possible.

These books are on their way to Ottawa. They will arrive either on July 7 or July 8. At this time, I will make it to Ottawa for the National Day of Prayer on Saturday, July11. I will be there later on Saturday for the big rally. God has made a way when there was none before. He is great, and greatly to be praised.

StayCation Adventure #2: Queenston Heights

Just to give you context, Queenston Heights, just across the Niagara River on the Canadian side of the border, is just one small arena where the War of 1812 was fought. Major General Isaac Brock and some of the brave Natives from the Six Nations Confederacy fought to save our territory from an American invasion. He gave his life in the process.

Two years ago we visited Queenston Heights. Below are maps and photos. Climbing the winding staircase to the top of the Brock Memorial is not for the faint of heart, nor the elderly with hypertension. I realized, after the fact, that I climbed 13 stories to the porthole.

2 Natives of note who fought beside Brock and carried on the fight even after his death were John Brant and John Norton. Their statues are in a section of the park which memorializes the part that the Natives played in defending this land.

And while you are in the Niagara area, go visit the old Fort George. There is an interesting story of resilience there. I think I shall tell you about the fort in the next newsletter, if you have not been yet. What do you think?
